I know that in uncertain times it can be quite a challenge to imagine that there is a way out or even think that things will get better. I felt impressed in my spirit to encourage you, just as Paul reminded his partners in Philippians 4:19,
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Remember he taught in Ephesians 4:7,
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
If we have all received grace according to the measure of Christ’s gift, then evidently we have all been given the same grace. No one of us as believers have been short changed. We all have the same access to grace.
That grace is what enables us to do whatever we are called to do in the Kingdom of God. We see in 2 Corinthians 9:8,
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Look at that again. A promise that your every need would be fully supplied.
I remember when I was learning to walk in these things, I would look at the lives of other Christians and wonder why they always seemed to be doing so much better than me. I was struggling with lack and barely getting by from month to month.
Then one day it was brought to my attention…that verse starts with “and”. This tells me that what was mentioned in the previous verses are linked to this statement.
Let’s look then at 2 Corinthians 9:6-8a,
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you…
Did you catch that? When I was meditating on this truth a while back, I heard these words in my spirit, “Grace flows in the atmosphere of generosity”.
If we think about it, we see this showing up in so many places in the Word of God.
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
Galatians 6:7 & 9,
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
I am sure you can think of many others.
When we were saved we were born again in the image of our Father and we know that He is a generous God. We have received the same spirit of generosity. As we discover this, we receive it by faith and then respond in action by living generously.
When I started walking in this revelation in greater and greater measures, I have indeed seen the awesome grace of God abounding in my life in so many different ways.
I want to encourage you today, once again activate this revelation by faith. Say this out loud, “Father, I receive the outpouring of your grace. You have so blessed me and I determine to be a blessing. It is more blessed to give than receive. I choose to live a generous life. As I give, it is given back to me so that I can continue to live generously. Your grace abounds and I always have all sufficiency for all things and an abundance for every good work.”
Janine and I join Paul in speaking over your life, our God shall supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
And remember, we pray for you every day.
You are blessed,
